I live in Oklahoma with my husband and my two children, the World War 1 caused a market drop and made us move to California either to find work or make more money. This icreased the farming activity a lot, and many workers were overspending and loosing money. The climate was just bad and in California there was a mild climate allowed for a long growing season and a diversity of crops with and harvesting cycles. Here in california it all so day and it looks like an ideal place to look for work. As the whorl war II came along many migrant worked enrolled in the army which decreased the number of migrant workers. Moving to california wasn't the best because we couldn't support all of our family but we all found jobs and hoped for the best !
